U.S. Air Force Veteran, Staff Sergeant, Ronnie Gene Phillips, 59, was buried with honors at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, Long Island, New York on November 1, 2011. His funeral, which was attended by dignitaries, fellow veterans, funeral home associates and members of the caring public was respectfully conducted by Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes under the Dignity Memorial® Homeless Veterans Burial Program. The program is to ensure that homeless veterans who have no family receive a proper burial for the honorable service they have given to our country.
