Pete was a good buddy of mine back in the Geneseo days. I'll always remember his love for family and West Babylon. To this day when I hear the name of that town I think of Pete. I always will. To hear of his passing is heartbreaking. If you were related to Pete or he called you a friend he took that serious. He had an old school loyalty about him that was admirable. To know he no longer walks this earth makes me sad. To remember that he did makes me smile. Go easy Pete. Fair winds and following seas. -Dowd
