Peter Joseph Kent

Peter Joseph Kent, 61, of North Babylon, formerly of Farmingdale, entered into Eternal Life on June 8, 2023. Beloved husband of 36 years of Florence (nee DiPietro). Devoted father of Meggan Rivellino (Justin) and Rebecca (Michael Martelo). Adored grandfather of Nora Rivellino. Loving brother of Thomas (Rita), Susan Mallardi, Carol Floria, and Marilyn (Bruce) Powers. Predeceased by his parents, John and Marilyn (nee Kevan), and his brothers, John, Richard and James, and his most loved cat, Soloman. Peter loved birdwatching and feeding birds, going to garage sales and antique hunting. He loved playing lotto and was always holding out for the big win. A wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather, Peter was taken too soon and will be greatly missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Tuesday, June 13, 2023, 2-4:30 pm & 7-9:30 pm. Funeral mass 10:30 am Wednesday, June 14, 2023, St. Joseph’s RC Church, Babylon.
