Patricia Orzano passed away in her home on November 2 surrounded by her closest family and of course her dear cat, Sam, after battling cancer for 7 years. Patricia left us to be with her beloved husband, Richard Orzano, her father, Vincent Palmieri, and her mother, Anne Palmieri. Beloved sister to James Palmieri and aunt to Brian Palmieri (Nikki) and James Palmieri (Bailey). Adoring stepmother to Michael Orzano (Leena), Christina Vergano (James), and Richard Orzano (Jean). Cherished grandmother to Amanda Orzano, Aidan Vergano, Dilan Vergano, and Cali Orzano. Patricia was a woman who would do anything for her friends and family and she made sure everyone in her life was loved. Patricia was the strongest, bravest, and most selfless soul. To know Patricia was to know love.
Throughout Patricia’s life, she served the community in which she grew up. Patricia devoted decades to owning 7/11 in Massapequa as well as serving as President of the Massapequa Chamber of Commerce. When Patricia was not with family and friends, she was spending countless hours volunteering whether it be delivering toys for Toys for Tots during the holidays, contributing to local outreach programs, or meeting with the president to fight for small businesses. Patricia’s accomplishments have benefited the lives of many in her community and her accomplishments will never be forgotten. Patricia has left us here on earth, but her love will be felt by many for generations to come. Patricia was a light in so many lives, she will be missed by her family and so many others. May she rest in peace.
