Patricia M. Kern

Mom was born in Brooklyn on 10/11/1941 to Frank and Gertrude Kehlenbeck. She married my Dad Francis X. Kern on April 18, 1964. (Deceased July 13, 2010). Her firstborn was Thomas (deceased 02/14/2020) on 11/03/ 1964.

Her son Sean was born on 12/15/1965. Her Daughter Patricia Mary was born on 06/03/1973…

She lived most of her life in Brooklyn and Queens but moved out to Suffolk County to be closer to her grandchildren.

She has 2 grandchildren from Sean. Brianna and Brandon who she loved very much.

She has a daughter-in-law, Lynne.

She has 3 step grandkids Kyle, Jenna, and Lauren.

Mom loved Lynne and the kids very much.

She is famous in the family for sending holiday cards to the kids and taping quarters in the cards.

Mom was a huge Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed watching the game with her own cheesehead and Packers blanket.

Her career was in Office management and earned her degree later in life. She spent many years with Cranes, a construction company, and International Paper. Work was important but family came first.

She will be missed by all that knew her.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. A visitation will occur Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A mass of Christian burial will occur Monday, April 24, 2023, at 10:30 AM at St Joseph's RC Church, 39 North Carll Ave, Babylon, New York 11702. A committal service will occur Monday, April 24, 2023, at 12:30 PM at Calverton National Cemetery, 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton, New York 11933.
