Patricia (Trish) Ann Broderick, 52 passed away from natural causes on September 9, 2020. Trish was born in Portsmouth Virginia to Doris and John Broderick. Trish passed away in her home of natural causes. She is predeceased by her 2 beloved dogs Poco and Hugo.
Trish was most proud of her career in civil engineering and project management. Trish worked on many well known public works projects. Her success in all things was driven by her willingness to jump into every endeavor with both feet. She was most passionate about helping others, Trish didn’t hesitate to help her neighbors in Lindenhust in the aftermath of hurricane Sandy. Trish forged lifelong friendships in her service to the tight knit community. Trish embraced those she met within the Wounded Warriors program. Trish was a fierce advocate for women and girls helping one of her favorite charities, “Fight like a girl” and standing up for those who needed her strength. She was always motivated by sharing her experiences and passing on her knowledge to anyone in need.
Trish had an outgoing and adventurous nature. She traveled living in London and South Africa. Trish as a young adult was lucky to have encountered and embraced a multitude of cultures while she traveled. She loved hiking and kayaking, and other outdoor adventures. Trish was a true American patriot and never too busy for a debate, she was known to be strong and outspoken.
Trish’s presence in this world will be greatly missed by friends and family forever. She is survived by her mother Doris Broderick. Her siblings, Robert Broderick and his partner Dawn Costanza, Timothy Broderick and his wife Dina Narain, her sister Christine Broderick and her only niece Madison Rohrbach. She is predeceased by her father John Broderick. She is also survived by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends worldwide.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 2-4:30 and 7-9:30pm. The family is requesting donations to her favorite charities in lieu of flowers. The family is also requesting any photos or anecdotes about Trish be emailed to them before the services so they may be shared with all those in attendance. They are also requesting that any condolences calls to be directed to Patricia’s siblings and please do not call her family home.
