I am Osmar’s pre-k teacher. My memories of him are always coming into my class with a big smile. He loved laughing and playing with the other students and always had friends around him.   I remember Osmar used to talk about his cat often, I think he called him Batman? He would crawl around the carpet meowing like a cat. He was sensitive and sweet and I just loved having little Osmar as a student.  Sending my condolences to the entire family. 

Osmar has the most beautiful heart and the most pure soul. His smile will forever be imbedded in my heart and his memory will live forever.  I feel beyond blessed to have known Osmar and be surrounded by his beautiful energy he always radiated. I will never forget how hard you made me laugh and how genuine of a person you were. I’ll miss you forever thank you for being the most amazing person i’ll ever know

Nearly half the school was empty today because of the enormous outpouring of love and friendship for Osman. So many wanted to pay their respects and grieve with you.
Always know that your community will lift you up;  like your son did for so many of his friends.

Before this tragedy I knew Osmar as my brothers best friend. The three musketeers Chris, Osmar, Jeremiah. I heard of there adventures and future plans. Any time I saw Osmar he had this big radiant, contagious smile. You will be extremely missed. Rest in peace dear Osmar. Our hearts are with all of his family and friends. We are uplifting you in prayer and remembrance. 

This so unfair and so sad.Parents shouldn’t bury a children.I don’t know you but as mother I can’t even imagine the pain you and your family going thru.My deepest condolences.Osmar you were a good friend to my sons.They been talking about you so much how you were always there for them and sharing  great memories with you.Always happy and just smiling and  how it shouldn’t been like this.It will be very difficult for everyone to say goodbye to you…Please keep  smiling from heaven.

You truly were a light in everyone’s lives. We instantly became friends when you came to my school in 6th grade. I’ll never forget our endless laughs and conversations in all of the classes we had together over the past 5 years. We worked together on every assignment and always walked to the classes we had with eachother. You always knew how to cheer me up when I would FaceTime you when I was upset. You always made sure to text me happy birthday every year and tell me how much I deserved to have a good day and thank me for everything. Osmar was one of the purest souls i’ve ever encountered, he radiated happiness everywhere he went with his smile that was contagious he has touched so many peoples lives. Speaking for myself and everyone that has ever gotten the honor of having him in their life he truly was a beautiful boy. Although it hurts me to write this and it doesn’t feel real I know Osmar has given the gift of his heart to this world and I will forever  carry all his love with me. I am so sorry for your loss I am grateful everyday to have known your sons sweet heart. Osmar will never be forgotten and will be loved always. We will miss you forever.

I remember when we had first met, you had only been in the school for a few months and we were in 6th grade.  We had only been friends for 3 days before you had asked me to be your girlfriend and i said yes.  From there we were on and off for 3 years and within those three years, you were always supportive and caring.  Then after the puppy love, you had become one of my best friends.  You shaped me into the person i am today and whether i liked the advice or not, you always gave me the right advice.  You always made sure others had a smile on their face or were laughing because of you.  Osmar, you had become the highlight of many lives all around and just made the world a better place over all with your presence.  And one of my favorite memories was when we played GTA together and you would taunt me while playing.  I will forever miss you and thank you for everything

I remember when you’d come to my house to see Leila. All of you guys in her room late at night and I’d have to come in yelling cause y’all were being too loud. You practically lived at my house and that was fine with me. And if you weren’t at my house Leila would be at Allisons, calling to tell me she was spending the night. You were always so sweet respectful and polite and I’m so glad you and Leila were so close, all I’d hear is Osmar this and Osmar that..lol. My heart breaks for all who loved you. Although we all wish you were still here with us God needed you with him more so he called you home. This is such a terrible tragedy but our loss is heavens gain cause I know you’re up there with your wings. My deepest and sincerest condolences to your mother and your entire family!

Ill always remember the day I first started texting and snapping him, which quickly became an everyday thing. He always had a good heart. I still remember staying up all night texting because we wanted to send each pictures of the sunrise in the morning. I’ll never forget the days we talked about sports and our future and how we couldn’t wait for the summer because we finally wanted to hangout. I felt so lost when I heard about what happened. He always made my day 10x better. Although I’ve never gotten to hangout with him in person i’ll forever miss talking to him on the phone and playing gta and texting all day long. I’ll never stop taking pictures of every beautiful sunset and sunrise I see. I’m so hurt that i’ll never be able to get anymore snaps of you smiling or goofy pictures of you and your dog. Rest easy

Osmar, you were always very kind and always had nice things to say to me and my family. I personally didn’t know Osmar but I had the honor of meeting him at Alisson’s quinceañera and he was so funny, energetic, and sweet. He was loved by so many people in the West Babylon community and his memory will not be forgotten.
