Leon L. Valdez

Leon L. Valdez, 88, of Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Beloved husband of 56 years of Rosario G. (nee Guzman). Devoted father of Roselle Robinson, Jeanne Campana, Glenn, and Leon, Jr. Loving father-in-law of Richard Robinson, Vincent Campana, and Susan Valdez. Adored grandfather of Nicholas Campana, Joseph Campana, Olivia Campana, Talia Valdez, and Lewis Valdez. Cherished brother of Jesusa Ronquillo and the late Gil Valdez. Leon was an anesthesiologist at Good Samaritan Hospital before his retirement. He was a member of the Suffolk County Medical Society, the New York State Medical Society, and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists. In his spare time, Leon loved fishing, gardening, and cooking, in addition to being a die-hard fan of the New York Mets. He will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday, January 20, 2023, 4:00 pm-8:00 pm. Funeral mass 9:30 am Saturday, January 21, 2023, St. Joseph's RC Church, Babylon.
