Dad, all my days with you were my happiest. And I'm not sure how my world will be happy without you. 

I thought with time the words would come to me to honor your memory, but there isn't a way to put into words how amazing you were. I admire the man you were and hope to live a life as honest as you lived yours. You put the four of us before anything and showed us the importance of family.  I wish I had your ability to light up a room with a smile and make friends with anyone. You were literally one of a kind. You lived a life that did not get easier for you as you got older, but you never complained and kept your head high. You took everything life handed you with a grain of salt and persevered. Failure was never an option for you, and it showed. You had a strong set of values and instilled the importance of values in us, teaching us to be ourselves and stick true to our beliefs. You always knew how to have a good time and made the best of every situation.  

Thank you for always believing in me, even when others didn't.  Your patience to help me overcome many obstacles growing up helped me to become the person I am. You always told us you were proud of us, but I hope you know that the people we have become is because of you. You should've been proud of the father you were, you were the greatest. I will always be proud to call you my dad. 

I hold close to my heart all of the memories I have with you, and will miss seeing your smiling face walk up to my front door. And as I selfishly wish that I had more time with you, I know you are finally resting easy. I do not know how to express my gratitude for you, but with every prayer I know one day I will see you again to tell you. I just hope you know that you were my world and I love you so much.   I lost a large part of my heart the day I lost you. I love you always. 


When I think of my Uncle Leo, his big, contagious smile comes to my mind. The way life treated him sometimes was unfair, but you would never know by looking at him because he was always so positive… There was always a smile on his face and he’d be joking around to get others to smile too. He was just a genuine, kind human. He loved his kids and his family more than anything, that was made evident by just being around him and hearing him talk. He always made an effort to be with his family, no matter what the circumstance. This is something I’ll never forget, and a great life lesson that he taught me without even realizing.

Missing him is an understatement. When I think of things going on in my life, I can’t help but wish he would be there. To see me get married, to meet my future children. I know they’d love him just like everyone who met him did. 

He was my Uncle, my Godfather and just one of the nicest people I’ve ever known. You will live forever in my heart, and our memories together will be there too. Until we meet again. I love you, Uncle Leo. 


I’ve known Leo as long as I could remember. He was a man’s man and a great friend and mentor, I respected him immensely and always looked forward to seeing him. He set the bar for what I strived to be. He will never be forgotten.

I want to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Germaine and all of Leo's siblings and family. I always thought Leo was so handsome and was a special person who had a bright light around him. I took the time to view some of the family photos and I could see that bright light and his smile says it all. I am so very sorry for your loss.

As I finish my round of golf,get into my car and turn on the telephone ....6:02 am  my phone reads missed text “ Happy Fathers Day Moe”  9:58am  “u too bro” I get no response ... As the missed calls and texts are coming through , I sense something is quite not ok  . My wife calls in and I just can’t believe what I’m hearing . This just can’t be real . As the days pass by , my house is so quiet . I can’t seem to talk ,the emotions in my throat . There are just no words to describe . The thoughts of not seeing your name come up on my phone , the morning talks and texts , your beautiful larger than life smile , the sound of your laughter , your sensitive spirit . Leo , I cannot believe you are gone ...Forever in my heart , I love you little bro  ❤️ Anthony 

Oh, my heart hurts! Gone too soon! So many amazing memories I’ll cherish forever with you, Lucille and the girls! I’ll never forget your laugh, big smile and your big heart! Sending my deepest condolences to the Klein family. I love you all! I wish I were there with each and every one of you. Leo, RIP and I hope to see you on the other side! You will be forever loved and missed! 

I've tried to find words where there are none. The tears flow, but not the words. How does one describe the shattering of their heart?
Questions where there are no answers. Only faith that I will get through this. Leo was a special man, a brother beyond brothers, a friend beyond friends, but most importantly, a family man and father that any child would be so fortunate to have. That was his life.  Leo could light up a room, not because of his stature but his presence. He made you feel loved and appreciated. It's surreal to think I cant see or touch him again in this lifetime. There will forever be a void. Leo, I love you, until we meet again, Love you,  love me

Taken to soon. Leo could light up a room.  His smile made me weak at the knees and his eyes sparkled like diamonds.  His big beautiful hands could palm our children, like the safest cradle, when they were infants.  Leo is the most generous person God has ever created.   He had not a single materialistic trait in his body, never wanting anything for himself.  He was simplistic in desires and only wanted things for the people he loved. He adored his four children.  He loved them more than life and was proud of them for everything they did but more over for the people they have become.   He made our children laugh.  He made them develop a strong sense of politics.  He gave our children intelligence and thought process.  He gave them a strong set of debate skills.  When I think of Leo, whenever I have thought of Leo, since the day I met him, I saw and felt his smile to the center of my core.  For the rest of my life, I will feel the same smile on the four faces we created because they all have his warmth and sparkle.  There will forever be a void now, in my heart and in the hearts of my children.  He left behind; Niki ~ his face, Arianna ~ his laugh, Kristian ~ his sense of humor, Frankie~his stubborn determination.  He left me~my children and a lifetime of beautiful memories.  I love you Leo.  I hope you have peace.   I hope to see you again. You have always had my heart. ❤️💔
