Not a day goes by that I don't think of you, BBP.  I somehow keep picking up the phone to call you, expecting to hear your voice at the other end.  You think I'd have stopped by now, but no.  You are loved and missed more than you can imagine.  I spend 98% of the time remembering you with a big smile on my face.  That other 2% hits hard like a punch in the gut and comes on suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere.  Anyway, if you're actually reading this up there, then that means you're already using the computer more often than you did when you were still here.  ;-) 

I love you, my Best Buddy & Pal.  I couldn't be prouder to be your son.

Dear Joey,  You were my childhood sweetheart, my first love, the father of our children and the dearest friend.  I can't believe you are gone from us for a year now, we miss you terribly but you live on in your children and grandchildren, and in Olivia.  You live on in our hearts and the hearts of your friends and family.  We will never forget you and we know that you are smiling down on us.  We will take good care of Olivia for you. My Sweetheart Joseph,

It is hard to believe that it has been one year since you left us.  I have to tell you that your presence is with us always.  We have had many smiles, laughter, some tears and a drink or two in your honor.

I want to tell you what I have learned in the past year.  As I have gotten ready to move to my new adventure in life, I have learned about "things".  As I put together material things that I was donating, there were times that I thought about how important it was to buy those things at that time.  I didn't remember the store we bought it from, or how much it cost or the date or anything like that.  

But when I thought about the things we had done together, just simple things that were filled with laughter, a smile, a kiss, a hug, an impromtu dance and more - I was filled with your presence.  

I am so grateful for those simple things we did and wish we had done more.

Thank you my love for the "things" you gave me.  I will cherish them forever.
