It’s never been the same at Gabrielli since Dr. Cohn has left us!  There was never a dull moment.

Jeff is a soul that brought a smile to my face and gave the world a gift.
He continues to be my inspiration that you can be tough and gentle and make an impact on earth.

Jeff     Truly will always be missed and often spoken about at work.

Jeff and I were good friends for many years But as life moves we had lost touch .Jeff would do anything for a friend .In my case ,he drove to Hunter Mountain in the Winter because my transmission went in my car .Jeff thought the cost was too expensive to repair so he said I’m coming to get you and he towed me home. I’ve never forgotten his friendship.
 We all new Jeff and Fran would marry even before they started dating. It was always meant to be. God Bless you in heaven my old friend!!

How sad my heart feels having just learned of Jeff's passing. I can still greatly remember having many, many laughs with Jeff and friends in Jr High & High School. You always said "Hi Mike!" whenever we saw each other. You meant a lot to so many people, then, now & will always. R.I.P. good friend.

I remember Jeff from school. Walking from class to class we would pass each other and he always had a smile on his face.and said hello. My heart felt prayers go out to his family..I will forever remember him 💙  RIP my friend .

"We were all kids once",  growing up in Massapequa Park & Farmingdale.  A "Lifetime" ago in time, is a mere second when recalling the days of our Youth and coming of age.  "One cannot make New Old Friends".  Impossible.  Time may widen the gap, but our hearts & memories still allow us to forever hold onto our childhoods and high school days.  They were the best days of our lives!  Jeff?  I smile as I tap away, yet, my heart aches and a tear  flows down my left cheek.  Like so many, I mourn Jeff's passing:  unfair, too young,  the image of "our high school buddy" etched into our minds!  Wise cracks,  sarcastic bantering, several times, or more,  being "partners in mischievous crime", (all fun, all good!).  I am happy to read that Jeff grew into the great adult that he did:  he continued on the same roadway he began as a child!  Be at Peace, Jeff!  You did well in your time here, and hundreds of folks from all walks of life mourn in unity, NOT an easy task in today's world!  Thank you for making our formative years a wonderful, lifelong memory of happiness and smiles!  God shall now embrace your kind soul.  Dalers Forever Class of '78!  

We were the Cohens. Not related but we we could have been brothers. My dad and his mom grew up together in Brooklyn and he and I did in Massapequa. We played every sport, raised tropical fish, rode his numerous mini-bikes and go-carts,  and I  heard the Beatles at his house for the first time. Knowing Jeff as I did I suspect he made many beautiful memories with his family. I send my heartfelt condolences to you all. - Mark

We were all hanging out in his kitchen and I was complaining about pricing of housing. I asked Jeff what he thought and he told me a story about the house they currently lived in. He bought the house and at the time it needed a ton of work, everyone including his wife said he was crazy. But nail by nail and weekend by weekend he built that home into what it is today.  This story resonated with me that I will never forgot it because I was so impressed. God bless Jeff

To Fran , boys and  and David,   Jeff was my first and oldest best friend. We did everything together when we were young.   I have  so many great memories of him and am so sad to hear he is gone . My deepest sympathy to you on the loss of Jeff.  I was in the Hartford office with Gabrielli and had many dealings with Jeff.  He was an absolute gem to deal with and we became good friends.  I helped him and he helped me more and we had fun doing it.  I recently moved to NC and we spoke several times.  I never met a person with such a positive outlook, especially recently.  His saying to me was "it always works out".  Although our connection was mostly on the phone, he was a joy to speak with and to know.  He will be greatly missed.  My heart is broken along with everyone else that knew him.  Rest in Peace Good Friend.


There are not enough words to describe what kind of man Jeff was - Dave's little brother, growing up the kid could fix anything and hated to lose a race. Who would have ever thought that later in life he would build me the finest trucks to meet my needs. I am getting choked up writing this - he will be greatly missed, I lost a great friend. 

What more can one say about a man who would make you feel you were the most special person in the world just by his hello. I met Jeff through my brother Michael some 40 years ago and to say he was part of my family is not saying enough. His kindness and love is greater than anything on this earth and it will continue because of that. May God bless you Jeff, he blessed all of us who were lucky to know you.

Dear Fran, Jessie, Frankie, and Jake,
I am so sorry for you and the boys to see Jeff pass at such a young age.  You have to be strong and look at the bright things that you all shared as a family.  I have fond memories of Jeff and David when they were very little.  We used to visit back and forth from New Jersey to Long Island.  My sister Audrey and your Grandfather Phil always made my family feel welcome.  Uncle Paul and I always had fun when we would visit.  Especially when I went to Brooklyn with Fran and Jeff and we drove by New Utrecht High School where Audrey and I graduated from.  
Hopefully when the pandemic is under control, I will come and visit.  I miss and love you all.
