In 1955, she married, Anthony, and the newlyweds made their lifelong home in West Babylon. Irene is predeceased in death by her parents William and Margaret Hervey; and siblings Lillian, Theresa, Ann, Julie and George.
Survivors include children Laura of Ronkonkoma, Frank of Centreville, Maryland and John of Tonawanda, New York; grandchildren, Nicole, Danielle, Anthony, Katie and Jamie; and great grandchildren, Emma and Luca.
Visitation hours will be held at the Claude Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 488 West Main Street (Montauk Hwy), Babylon, N.Y. The family will be receiving guests at 2:00-4:30 pm and 7:00-9:30 pm.
