Henry T. Samon

Samon – Henry Thomas of Babylon Village passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 1, 2023 while at his home after battling cancer for several years. He is survived by his beloved wife, Corinne; 6 children Harry (Zulma) of Medford, Kimberly (Eddie) of Manhattan, Corinne (Sansai) of Babylon, Joseph (Mary) of CT, Juliette (Christopher) of Babylon and Michael (Stephanie) of CA; 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A long time resident of Babylon Village, long time member of St. Joseph’s church choir where he sang for two Popes, some of his proudest moments.

Family kindly requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center or The American Red Cross.

A visitation for Henry will be held Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Homes, 448 W Main St, Babylon, New York 11702. A visitation will occur Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 448 W Main St, Babylon, New York 11702. A mass of christian burial will occur Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10:30 AM at St Joseph's RC Church, 39 North Carll Ave, Babylon, New York 11702. A committal service will occur Monday, February 6, 2023 at 12:00 PM at North Babylon Cemetery, Livingston Ave and Sunrise Highway S Service Rd, North Babylon, New York.
