Helen was the loving wife of the late Edward Dalton, and she is survived by her devoted sister Emilie C. Minder. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered as the beloved Aunt of Charlie & Susan, Michelle & Steve, Michael & Deb, Carleen & Bob, and as the Grand Aunt of Bobby & Sammy, Madison, Beth & Zach, Eric & Missy, Eric & Darby, Matthew & Ashley, Kyle, Karly, Tyler & Gabby, Emilie & Angel.
Helen was known for her remarkable career as an engineer at Nynex, where she contributed significantly to the telecommunications industry. Beyond her professional endeavors, Helen's passion for life extended to her hobbies. She was an enthusiastic boogie boarder and a dedicated beachgoer, finding solace and joy in the calming waves and sandy shores.
She was an active member of her community, participating in various groups, including her cherished beach group, where she formed lifelong friendships. Helen was a familiar face at Tre-Palms, where she shared laughter and memories with those she held dear.
Helen's infectious laughter, loving spirit, and genuine kindness touched the lives of all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of warmth, laughter, and love that will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
In honor of Helen's memory, her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life and share stories of her indomitable spirit. Though she may be gone from our sight, her memory will forever remain a guiding light in our lives.

A funeral will occur Friday, May 24, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Claude R. Boyd/Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon, NY 11702. A burial will occur Friday, May 24, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Oakwood Cemetery, 3 Moffitt Blvd, Bay Shore, NY 11706.
