H. Austin Sheldon III, age 76, of West Babylon, NY passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born in Amityville, NY. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Madeline, his daughters Kim Snyder, and her husband John, Karen Bender and her husband William, and his grandchildren James, Megan, and Michael. He also loved his many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. In addition to being devoted to his family, he was a founding member of the West Babylon Alumni Association, a 38-year Town of Babylon Dept. Of Public Works retiree and a great lover of animals.
Friends may visit the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main St., Babylon, NY on Friday from 2:00 - 4:30 pm and 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Religious services Saturday at 10:30 am at Christ Episcopal Church, 12 Prospect St. Babylon, NY. Cremation private.
