Gino G. Clemente

Gino G. Clemente, 84, of West Islip, entered into Eternal Life on Saturday, November 18, 2023. Predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine. Devoted father of Gino and his wife, Elaine, and Mario and his wife, Sheryl. Adored Nono of Gina, Dylan, Daniel, Nicole, Ashley, and Kayla. Cherished brother of Peter, Gloria, Anna, Carmella, and Lucy. Born in Poggomarino, Italy, on November 24, 1938, to the late Louis and Pia (Pierleoni) Clemente, Gino was a union carpenter with Local 17 in Manhattan. He loved carpentry and could build anything, relished playing cards, and was a staple in the deaf community. His joy was in making people laugh, playing jokes, and doing tricks. He was an active member of his deaf card group and loved to be around his friends. Gino will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that he touched. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main Street, Babylon, Friday, November 24, 2023, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Funeral service at the funeral home 9 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, New York.
