Hi Frank, I talk to you every week...I hope you hear me. I'm glad your sister allowed me to have a few of your things to help me feel comforted, as there is a huge gap where your friendship was and I haven't been able to fill it. I hope you're having a blast up there! Say hi to Louie, another great neighbor and friend taken too soon. I just wanted you and your family to know that you are in my thoughts always.

Not a day goes by that I don't think of you. Today especially when the Rangers won. I know you were watching and cheering them on. I  miss you  every day. I posted pics of  my first Rangers game with you and you watching the hockey game while watching the Yankees play.  Till we meet again Frank ❤️

Can’t believe it’s been two years already. I’ll always remember the night like it was yesterday. My Uncle Frank’s life was cut short but at least there’s peace in knowing it was one of the happiest points in your life. For me I was looking forward to taking you to sports games now that I graduated, had a real job, real money to repay you for all the experiences you gave me. I wish there’d be one more game together. 
Anyone who knew you knew you were a huge Rangers fan. After dinner with mom and Mel tonight I got to watch the game with Anna. It was one of the best games I’ve watched and wish we could’ve experienced it together. He would’ve loved it. Rangers over Flyers 6-5 in OT. 
Uncle Frank you were the best and we’ll all continue to miss you everyday.

It has been a year since Mr. Frank Riggio passed away, still sad.  We became good friends even though were on opposite sides of W.I.   Racquetball is what we played, best of times.

To  frankie's family i am at a loss for words . Last i talked to him he seemed ok. i know in the fall/early winter of 2021 he was going through alot with a friend neighbor who was in coma from a fall and he was having rough time w that . we last spoke in feb and we said we would stay in touch and if i was working at beach club we would hang .i know now why he bever called me back. I have no clue what happened but i hope he didnt siffer and he is at peace . till we meet again my friend love ya

I am just able to write this, Frank and I were very close. He called me on his way north to let me know he'd be coming over on Sunday. When I didn't hear from him, I knew something was wrong.
He was such a kind generous man, we fished, shopped and ate many fantastic meals together.  
We all know Frank was a diehard Ranger fan, me an Islander fan, yet he still drove me to the Island to get Islander gifts!
He was one of a kind.
I will miss you so much, till we meet again.

I spent a lot of time with Frank last year we were very close, he stopped to see me about a month ago we talked about his new job and how much he liked it. He was a terrific and talented person and I am devastated by this news. I only learned about his passing  because I have not heard from him and couldn’t get through to him on his phone. I pray he is  in eternal peace and he always  will be in my thoughts. May his family have strength through this terrible time.

The fourth floor will never be the same.   My Pup Harry and I miss Frank already.  His smiling face always brightened my day when I ran into him in the hall.  He was a true friend and will be missed forever. May he rest peacefully in God's grace.  

Frank, these Kinney/Footlocker get togethers will never be the same---Oh the fun we had.....

Frank, my first Kinney friend, I was so awkward back then and you made me feel  so good about me always.  To think it was 32 years ago that we met.  So much has happened since then, you were one of my closest friends.  It didn't matter how much time passed it was like we saw each other yesterday.  This was one of my favorite memories....we laughed so hard about everything, the good the bad and the ugly....

It is so hard to believe this is real....

Whether it was interior design, fishing, boating, partying, Frank was an awesome friend.  I remember how we comforted each other in 2008 when we both lost our jobs.  We cried, laughed, found new jobs and came out as great friends.  Our times boating were incredible.  Frank will be missed. Till we meet again my friend.

My deepest condolences and prayers for Frank's family. Frank was my neighbor and part of our Pier Village family. Although I only knew him for a short time, we became fast friends. Frank was easy-going and made everyone feel comfortable whenever we were together. He will missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace. 

Frank was one of my first friends when I moved into this building. He has always been someone I could count on, and I could talk to him about anything. He gave the best advice, never judged, and would never tell a soul anything. Frank, I will miss your walks and talks, and I'm sorry we put off getting BBQ from the new place til you got back from your trip. I am so glad I had you as a friend and I will miss you. This place won't be the same without you.

Rest in Peace old friend. Glad we were able to make the memories we did . . .

Frank and I met when I worked at Sushi excellent bartending in 2009. I was going to school for Interior Design in the city and I was working on children’s books and also going to Italy a lot.  I had just lost my dad and was going through some heavy stuff. I looked up to Frank.Frank supported my artwork . I commissioned a painting for him of Venice. He bought all my books from me and was always amazed with how I pulled things off. He thought very highly of me when I just couldn’t see it for myself. Frank and I shared a love for art, theater food and travel, especially Italy. I loved hanging out , we were last together March 6th for Lunch on Staten Island. He seemed happy and renewed. Our entire conversation revolved around the Interior of the place as we are very picky! We laughed , we talked about Key West and how life is just meant to be celebrated and have fun. He hugged me goodbye and said it was wonderful seeing me again and I look great. I don’t ever take his compliments lightly because he wouldn’t say anything he didn’t mean. I am so glad he got to see me accomplish a few things he was my biggest supporter. He was impressed I just  met Diane Von Furstenberg… I really wanted to make him proud and show him that his engagement truly pushed me further. 
Sharing likes and things with him was my favorite thing to do. I was supposed to go by and cook a lasagna…Frank is a brother, a true true soul. I am very lucky to have been appreciated and loved by someone who had such a heart as his. Frank will remain a very very special person to me. He knew I never had it easy but always believed in me. I’ll never forget my friend who would give the shirt of his back if I asked Him.  He was enjoying his church group , I am so pleased he found a good space with Jesus.. 
My condolences to his family and other friends, colleagues who knew how talented and smart he was. This has been very difficult.
I know he is with his parents and pup, dancing and designing with the angels . 


I’m gonna miss you brotha. You were one of a kind. I have so many words I can say. The only ones I can come up with are

First I want to say that Frank was the most caring, thoughtful,  generous and sweetest Man I've ever met and he will be deeply missed. I'd like to share a funny story..one of many.  So when I first met Frank he took me to the Opera I was so nervous I've never been to an Opera, what do I wear, how do I act this Man is so sophisticated etc. So we get there and Frank realized the Yankees were on what does he do takes the Opera Playbook puts his phone in it and proceeds to watch the game during the opera...lol at that moment I knew he was just a normal guy with a great sense of humor , silly and funny and I just felt relaxed after that.  It was a great night at the Opera I'll never forget.
