Cheryl Ann Gandt, age 70, of Amityville, New York passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023. Cheryl was born to Rose and Alfred DiPane of Richmond Hill, In 1952. She went on to meet and marry her beloved husband Raymond. Raymond and Cheryl enjoyed 42 years of marriage. Together they went on to have two daughters; Elizabeth and Audra. Cheryl had a career in finance and was a senior analyst for Citi at the time of her retirement. Cheryl enjoyed baking, sewing, and vacationing in Florida. She was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Whether it was enjoying a girls' night out, or hosting a party, as long as she was with those she loved. She will be greatly missed.
Cheryl is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Elizabeth and Richard Spagnola; her daughter and son-in-law Audra and Timothy Pyszczymuka; her brother and sister-in-law Jerome and Katrina DiPane and her sister and brother-in-law Carin and Alan Potter; her grandchildren Alexandra, Thomas, Emilie.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her husband Raymond G. Gandt; her father and mother Alfred and Rose DiPane.
A visitation for Cheryl will be held Tuesday, August 1, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at Claude R. Boyd - Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W Main St, Babylon, New York 11702.
