Catherine Commisso (nee Zito), 89, of North Babylon, on August 11, 2019. Beloved wife of the late Dominick Commisso. Devoted mother of Louis Commisso (Luann) and Judy Scott (Gregg). Adored grandmother of Christopher, Michael and Daniel. Cherished sister of Joseph Zito. Catherine loved to cook, teach ceramics, sewing, and knitting, going to the theater, and spending time with her family and friends, who will all miss her. She was a tireless volunteer at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal RC Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W. Main St., Babylon Thursday, August 15, 2019, 2-4:30pm & 7-9:30pm. Funeral mass 10am Friday, August 16, 2019, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal RC Church, Wyandanch. Interment to follow at Saint Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale.
