Arturo Panetta

Arthur Panetta Sr. of West Babylon, passed away on July 14th, 2016 at his home surrounded by his children. Artie as known by his friends and family was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy. Artie was always self-employed, very hardworking and loved his family above all else. He thoroughly enjoyed family gatherings, woodworking and listening to Italian music. He is survived by his five children, Marianne Rossi (Joseph), Arthur, Gelsie Nivens (Robert), Dorothy Ferrara (Samuel) and Dominick (Maria). Artie is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grand-children and 1 brother Adolph Panetta of Bay Shore. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 17th, at the Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main Street, Babylon NY from 2:00-4:30pm and 7:00-9:30pm. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am on Monday at Our Lady of Grace R.C. Church in West Babylon, NY. Entombment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY.
