Arlene Theresa DeVoe (nee Sloane) LCSW, 76, of Babylon, entered into Eternal Life on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Beloved mother of Robin and Randy (Denise). Adored grandmother of Luc, Kyra, and Jack. Dear sister of Frances Miller and the late George Sloane. Predeceased by her parents, George and Irene (Baker) Sloane. Arlene was a certified Social Worker, as well as a drug & alcohol counselor. Since her early years attending school in the Babylon School District, Arlene was passionate about her love for Babylon Village. In her final years, she loved nothing more than watching the sunsets from the Village Pool. Although born in Brooklyn, she spent her life here in Babylon Village and was a true Babylonian. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by each life that she touched, both in Babylon Village and beyond. Family will receive friends at Claude R. Boyd-Spencer Funeral Home, 448 W.
