Anne L. Muldowney

A lifelong resident of Babylon, Anne lived with strength, independence and a deep appreciation for life, family and the world around her.

Anne loved music, theater, the beach and the simple joy of good chocolate. An avid traveler and curious soul, Anne was always up for something new; whether an adventure abroad, a night at the theater or a meaningful conversation with someone she'd just met. She had an open, welcoming nature and a genuine interest in people and places.

Anne worked as an Administrative Assistant to the North Babylon School District Superintendent.

Her strong work ethic showed in everything she did; from raising her five children to the many roles she took on throughout her life. She met each task with dedication and pride.

Anne was a proud mother to: Kerri Oman (Alan), Bob Muldowney (Kathie), Kathy Muldowney (Michael Powers), Tom Muldowney (Traci Deseve) and Diane Muldowney (Patrick Pearse).

A loving Grandmother to: Chad Powers (Jen), Kelly Muldowney, Laurel Beckham (Jamie), Elsie Pultz (Ally Feliciano), Kaitlin Muldowney, Elizabeth Oman-Wilfrid (Greg), James Powers (Samantha), Sarah Pultz, Lisa Muldowney (Preston Parker), Allison Muldowney (Kris Duncan), Kathryn Oman and Molly Pultz.

A Great-Grandmother to: Ellery and Judah Powers, Duncan, Rosalyn and Ashton Beckham, Hunter Muldowney and Rowan Parker.

Anne was very loved by all of her siblings; Lorraine and Bill Rooney, Pat McGovern, Kevin and Diane Muldowney, Ruth Muldowney, the late Jack Muldowney, Dick and Anne Muldowney, Edward and Norma Muldowney, Mary and Bob Mankowich and Hugh McGovern.

Anne's love for her family was steadfast and her home was always filled with music, laughter and the kind of stories that only a life well-lived could tell.

She will be remembered as someone who lived fully, gave generously and left behind a legacy of warmth, resilience and compassion. Anne's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Anne will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM. A visitation will occur Tuesday, April 22, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 39 N Carll Ave, Babylon, NY 11702. A burial will occur Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Charles / Resurrection Cemeteries, 2015 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
