With find remembrance of Bernie.  As a volunteer at La Renaissance where his wife Bonnie was living at that time, I met him Bernie when he was already quite elderly.  I was struck by his gentleness, his kindness, his openness to others and his tenderness towards Bonnie.  Because of Bonnie and Bernie, I developed relationships with Amanda and Beverly.
May God Bless and keep you all, both the living and those who have begin the second life.

Already one year.  We still pray for you Bernie and for Bonnie.  Please pray for us also and for all those at Rennaissance.

Dear Bonnie and family, I can remember as a child the excitement of Bernie coming to the farm with all of you on summer holidays. Mr. Brennan came to Lord Aylmer many times for Remembrance Day and I had many nice chats with him. A kind, gentle man, he was the epitome of service to his country and what true patriotism meant. The children always enjoyed his visits. Sending sincere sympsthy to his family and may he rest in peace with your mother.

We spent many wonderful winters in TX. with your Mom & Dad.  They were both very gentle and kind and much loved by all in Chimney Park.
We also spent some time with them (and some of you) at their cottage on Salmon Beach in N.B.
