Yolanda Rivera Pizano, 60 years young, passed away on June 23, 2020 in Austin Texas. Yolanda was born in Nueva Rosita Coahuila, Mexico on January 9, 1960 to Jose Angel Rubalcaba y Maria de Jesus Rubalcaba. She graduated from Concordia University with a degree in Business Administration and worked as a Data Transcriber for the Internal Revenue Service for 35+ years. On February 17, 1989, she married Abel, a hard-worker and her loving dancing partner. From 1980 to 1992 respectively, she welcomed her wonderful children, who were the most important part of her life. Yolanda was a devoted follower of Christ and a devoted mother. She enjoyed passing time with her family and spending time with her beloved pets. She was a natural born dancer who enjoyed the rhythm of life. She was and is still remembered by her loving nature. Her smile was like no other, bright and warm as the sun that would light up an entire room. But above all her love for Jesus Christ was like no other and it showed. Her steadfast faith was an example for anyone and everyone she encountered. Her testimony spoke a thousand words to her family and any person that had the pleasure of meeting her, for that we will always be grateful.
Yolanda is survived by her loving family, her husband, Abel Pizano; her children, Frances Dold, Antonio Chavez, Elizabeth Chavez, Mikaela Pizano and Arielle Pizano-Salazar; grandchildren, Amy, Jonathan Hernandez, Othniel, and Briella Chavez; sisters, nieces and nephews; pets, Princess Buttercup, Chewy, Dolly, Peewee, Pequín and Theodore.
