Xavier Alvarez

Luis “Xavier” Alvarez, age 19, passed away on October 30, 2016, after an auto/pedestrian accident. Xavier was born in Austin, Texas, and was a 2015 graduate of James Bowie High School and a student at Austin Community College. In the spring he was going to attend Baylor University with his brother and major in finance.

He is survived by his loving parents, Reynaldo and Sandra Alvarez; two brothers, Stephen Alvarez (Lauren), John Eric Alvarez; and one sister, Alexandra Alvarez. Xavier will be greatly missed by all his family and many friends for his warm, kind, generous and humorous personality. We are all blessed to have had Xavier be a part of our lives for the last 19 years. We will all miss him dearly but we know he is with Our Lord in Heaven. The Alvarez Family wishes to thank their friends and family for all their support, thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in our lives.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., on Thursday, November 3, 2016, at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., on Friday, November 4, 2016, at Bethany Lutheran Church, followed by Interment at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
