Bill passed away peacefully from this life at home on June 23, 2014 at 4:28AM. He was surrounded by his loving wife and family who were so important in his life. Bill was born November 4, 1929 in Rochester, NY, son of Bill and Ethel Simon.
He was a Korean War veteran serving his country proudly as a U.S. Army medic. After retiring from the Rochester Public Library he and his wife moved to Austin, Texas in 2003.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; his brother Richard and wife Arlene, his daughters Sue and Bonnie, four step children, numerous grandchildren, a great grandson and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held for Bill at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 28th 2014 at St. Louis King of France Catholic Church 7601 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78757.
