Brother William Gaseor, CSC, 86, passed away in Austin, Texas on February 6, 2017. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he entered the Congregation of Holy Cross after high school. His 65 years of ministry as a religious brother were dedicated especially to food service in the residences and ministries of the Brothers. In his later years, Br. William helped in assisted living programs for the Holy Cross community. In 2013, he retired at the Brother Vincent Pieau Residence in Austin, Texas, while continuing to delight many with his baked goods ministry.
Services will be held in the Chapel of Brother Vincent Pieau Residence, Austin, Texas. The Memorial Service will be at 6:30 pm on Friday, February 10, 2017. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
