We are celebrating the life of William Farrell Fulton, Jr., known as “Bill” to friends and “Buddy” to family. He went to be with the Lord, Our Father, on Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at the age of 91, having been born on May 15, 1929.
A graduate of Rice University and the Union Theological Seminary, Bill “Buddy” Fulton joined the Air Force after university. He served a full career as an Air Force Chaplain with postings throughout the world. Along the way, his generosity, kindness, dedicated service and discipleship made him many lifelong friends. After retiring from the Air Force, he served as Minister at Methodist churches in Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, and Thorndale, Texas, while also caring for his mother, Juanita, once her husband had passed. He retired from active ministry, living in Austin for the remainder of his life. He had a longtime affiliation with Hill House, a Christian resource organization for students; and spent his last several years as a founding member of South Austin’s Resurrection Anglican Church.
Bill/Buddy leaves behind a multitude of faithful, loving friends and is survived by his sister, Elizabeth Lansing, and her three children, Carol Britton, Kenneth Gill, Don Lansing and their families.
