Wilfred "Fred" Martinez

He is preceded in death by his son, Alfredo; both parents, Gloria Estel Montalvo, Juan Jose Martinez; four brothers and three sisters.

Fred is survived by his children, Yvette (Cookie), Diane, Christopher; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and three sisters.

Fred was born in Aguadilla, PR, completed High School in Ponce, PR and in 1972 was drafted into the US Army, Fort Gordon, GA. He continued his career in the Army and Veterans Affairs for 30 years and respectfully retired from both.

Fred enjoyed sports, working out, gardening, shopping and he had a love for salsa music. Fred loved his children and grandchildren very much. All you had to do was call on him and he was always there no matter what. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
