Wanda Brown Luecke, age 75, of Austin, Texas passed away on February 12, 2016 peacefully at home surrounded by family. Wanda was born in Goose Creek (Baytown) Texas October 29, 1940 to Walton William Brown and Geraldine Francis Brown.
Wanda went to Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas. She served as military wife to Sr. Master Sergeant Ned Luecke, and while living in the Philippines was television personality for the hit Wanda Vaughn Show. She worked as Makeup artists (armed forces division) for Max Factor and finally retired as marketing manager from Brokers National Life Assurance Company.
Wanda was mother to three sons, Mark Allen Luecke, Russell Wayne Luecke and Ned A. Luecke Jr. She is survived by son, Mark Allen Luecke and daughter-in-law, Cindy Corbitt; her closest friends, Teri Boley, Gail Talamontes, Art Koonce; and god-daughters, Krissy Walkwitz and Candice Meacham.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78704.
Graveside Service 10:00 am on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Assumption Cemetery. 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Road, Austin, Texas 78704, followed by a Celebration of Life Gathering from 11:15 am – 1:00 pm at VFW 3377, 12921 Lowden Lane, Manchaca, Texas 78652.
