Vivian Mangum, daughter of Brian and Allyson Mangum, died Saturday Dec. 22, 2007 at home. Vivian was born in Sunnyvale, California on Nov. 27, 2005, shortly after her parents had moved from Austin where Brian attended UT Law School. Brian and Allyson had recently returned to Austin for Brians job as an attorney with Winstead law firm. Allyson was very active in her moms group in California and was looking forward to her new moms group in Austin. Vivian is survived by her parents, grandparents, Jay and Jan Mangum and their children, Matt, Jennifer and Greg Hawkes; Cliff and Janet Herseim and their children, Richard and Jennifer; great-grandparents Barb Meek, Lyn and Peg Eschenbacher, Roberta and Bill Wilterding, and Jackie Mangum, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Vivian was the joy of all our lives. She loved music Elmo La, La, La, loved to dance and sing and be read to, and her dog Tank. Always happy and smiling, she made everyone laugh and be happy and loved to run run run just like her marathoning mommy. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Vivian was blessed with kind and caring parents who made every day of her life special. Donations may be made to the Town Lake Animal Shelter in Austin or the National Parkinsons Foundation. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin, Texas. A family viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Wilke-Clay-Fish funeral home in Austin.
