Tom V. Dowding

16, while at home with his family. Burial will be in Kerrville, Texas

at Garden of Memories cemetery on Monday, July 23, at 1:00 p.m.

A veteran of WWII, Mr. Dowding will be escorted by a motorcade of honor

guards from Fredericksburg to Kerrville. Services at the gravesite will

be conducted by Reverend Dave Shroeder of Redeemer Lutheran Church of

Austin and the American Legion of Kerrville.

Longtime residents of Austin, Mr. and Mrs. Dowding have lived in San

Antonio, El Paso, McAllen, and Lubbock. This August 23, Tom and Uma

would have been married for 60 years.

Mr. Dowding is survived by his wife, Uma, their daughter Cathy Lacey

(Jeff), son William Dowding (Kristi), grandson Mark Bonifay (Melinda)

and preceded in death by daughter Cindy Bonifay.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Austin

Hospice or Redeemer Lutheran Church of Austin.
