Thomas B Nowlin

Tom Nowlin, 93, passed away on November 22, 2017. Tom was born in Florence, Texas on August 18, 1924. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946. He lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for 25 years. He retired from Electrical Workers Locals #357 after working there for 25 years. He married Dorothy Peterson in 1949. After retirement they moved to live in Austin, Texas. They shared 57 years before her death in 2006.

Tom is preceded in death by his wife, parents, one brother, three sisters and one niece. He is survived by his sister Alta Nowlin of Austin and sister-in-law Ardath Nowlin of San Antonio and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Tom’s graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday December 2, 2017 at Cook-Walden Memorial Hill Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
