Theresa Cermeno

Theresa is survived by her children; Antonio Moreno (Carmen Miranda), Rebecca Mitchell, Diana Goodman (Raymond Rodriguez); grandchildren, Rene Moreno, Jennifer Limon (Josue Limon), Matthew Tijerina (Victoria Tijerina), and John Edward Tijerina; siblings, Margarita Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Lee Solis, and Lee David Alvarado; as well as many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Manuel Cermeno; her parents, Juan Alvarado and Micaela Solis; her children, Elena Moreno, Linda Rogers, and Jody Moreno; siblings, John Alvarado and Anne Guerrero.

Theresa was the most loving and genuine person you knew. She had a way of making everyone feel like they were her favorite person.

Early in life, she enjoyed traveling and going dancing. She was also an avid reader and gardener, as well as a lover of music, family, and life. Theresa was quick to share her story about getting married in Las Vegas or talk about her children growing up and also loved reminiscing about the good old days.

In her spare time, Theresa loved working a crossword puzzle, playing her handheld poker game, watching jeopardy and wheel of fortune, listening to a record loud enough for the whole house to hear, or watching a music program.

She was happiest when she was with family and friends; that's when she came to life. Her laugh was infectious, and her smile lit up your whole world.

She was truly a wonderful mom and grandma to all.
