Terrell Timmermann passed away peacefully with his family by his side on September 29, 2014. He was born March 23, 1929 in a small German farming community in Freiheit, Texas to Dan and Eva Timmermann. Terrell spoke German as his first language and did not learn English until the first grade. He went to high school in New Braunfels and then graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in pharmacy. After graduating from UT, he went on to serve in the United States Army during the Korean war. Shortly after returning to Texas, Terrell opened North Loop Pharmacy, which he ran and owned for many years. It was at the pharmacy that he met the love of his life and wife for almost 50 years, Geraldine Timmermann. Terrell and Gerry went on to start a successful apartment rental company, owning houses, duplexes and apartments. They then transitioned into purchasing farm land. By having the foresight to buy land in areas that would later prove ripe for commercial development, Terrell developed a reputation as a well respected real estate investor. He shared his knowledge and financial advice with many and helped influence many a life with his wisdom.
Terrell was passionate about his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He loved playing ball and throwing rocks in the creek with his grandchildren and loved riding around and looking at land.
Terrell is predeceased by his parents, Dan and Eva Timmermann. Terrell is survived by his wife, Geraldine Timmermann, and their sons, David Lawrence Charlton and wife Deborah, Barth Timmermann and wife Marie. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Madison Charlton, Colin Terrell Timmermann and Aidan James Timmermann. Terrell is also survived by his brother, Dan Timmermann Jr. and wife Bobbie, their children Valerie and Larry and their families.
