Steve Nettle

Stephen A. Nettle, age 56, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend of many, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He was a resident of Georgetown, Texas , formerly a lifelong resident of Austin, Texas. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Gale Nettle, and his mother, Reecie Nettle. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Brenda Nettle, son Jason Nettle and wife Michelle of Fairfield, TX, daughter Melissa Nettle of Manor, TX, and son Garrett Nettle of Georgetown, TX, sister Nan Moxley, three grandsons Bryson, Koleten and Peyton, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family, and countless friends. Steve was born on April 22, 1955 in Austin, TX. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting with his sons and family at the Fairfield Ranch. Steve enjoyed helping his family and friends with projects and was always there to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed by all. For those that wish to make a memorial contribution, a trust fund in honor of Stephen Nettle has been established with Bank of America. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the evening until eight o’clock in the evening, Thursday, the 26th of May at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N. Lamar Blvd. Austin TX 78752 Funeral Services will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, Friday, the 27th of May at Cook-Walden Funeral Home.
