Dear cousins  I sorry to hear about your mom    Aunt Shirley     Dicki   Keep me inform   Again I sorry for your lost.  I heard heaven  is great    The brother and sisters will catch up with each other’s and share the stories    I sure do miss my father he died in 1978  dec 18 and my mom died in November 28  in2014.  They r buried at Mitchell    I sure do miss them but God know best so rest assured Shirley is catch up with all the news that brothers a no sisters do take care of each other  my love sent your way Sharon Powell Kramer 

Aunt Shirley was by far my favorite aunt. Being mom's little sister she had a tough act to follow, and she was up to the challenge. I will always remember her as being an independent woman far ahead of her time. She was strong willed with a fine wit and feisty. She always messed with me and I loved it. My youngest daughter is very much like her and is also a redhead. She knows how to take care of herself and is also fearless. I hope today Aunt Shirley and mom are raising holy hell with Aunt Helen, just like old times!  We are all better for having known her.

Shirley had a spirit and energy of which one could not help but be inspired. It was always a joy to visit with her and hear her unique perspective on life and family. I will cherish those brief encounters as I learned much from her. My prayers are with the family at this time. The loss of such a strong woman will forever be felt. The best thing is-- Shirley passed on her unique communication style, her wisdom, and her acceptance of others to her family and we will continue to be blessed by those wonderful attributes.
