Sherrell is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Thomas and Juanita Mildred (Jones) Brown, her husband, Gary, and her brother Thomas Brown. She is survived by her son, Gary Mark Thornton of Pflugerville and her daughter, Malanie and husband Felipe P. Soliz, II of Cedar Park, and her cherished grandchildren, Sean and Kyle Soliz. She is also survived by her sister, Elaine Baber and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sherrell was one of a kind. She was a unique wife, mother, nana, and friend, who will be greatly missed.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation on Monday, June 6, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills Funeral Home, 9700 Anderson Mill Road, Austin. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville.
