Sherman Johnson Jr. was born on October 12,1981 in Austin, Texas to Connie Yancey and Sherman Johnson. Raised primarily by his grandparents, Maggie and Rogedale Yancey. He attended Austin ISD and held various jobs throughout his life
Sherman cherished his role as a father to his beloved son. Romeo Rivers and took great joy in spending time with family, often bringing laughter to those around him. He is remembered for his daily visits to check on his loved ones.
Sherman is preceded in death by his mother, Connie Yancey. Survived by his son, Romeo; father, Sherman Johnson; brothers George Fisher, Lee Otis Yancey, and Jerome Yancey; sisters Tanisha Fisher, Carylon Johnson, Crystal Lana, and Cristina McMury; sister-in-law Tracey Franco; and many relatives and friends.
