Dearest Scotty and Joshua, You graced me, all the children and grandchildren by passing through our lives. You showed by example countless lessons a person must know and taught us more about how to love. Your devotion to Jesus was at the core of your souls. I just found out about Scott's passing. My company was a vendor for BAE Systems for several years. Scott & I worked together for over 15 years. I have never enjoyed working with anyone more than Scott. He had a great personality & his engineering skills were exceptional.
Scott would come by my shop with his son Josh so we could go have lunch together. I sure miss those days.
Scott would share stories about his family that he loved so much. I wish them  all the best.


Sad about not having the chance to 'pick up right where we left off' after out college days. Miss you bro and now I'm missing you more. Blessings to your family.

Anyone who knew Scott thought of him as their friend. His incredible capacity to bring out the best in us was done softly and thoughtfully. We felt better about ourselves while in his company. It made us thankful to know him. I am honored to have called him my friend and  will keep him in my heart.  My condolences to Jan, Josh and the rest of his family.

My husband worked with Scott fixing up a home with St. Johns and we visited with the family after church a few times and hoped to get to know them better.
I pray for Jan and family to feel the closeness of God each day for this monumental loss.

Been thinkin' about Scott the last week or so and I am proud to say "Scott Lewis was my friend". He was a giver, not a taker...we need more of those in today's world. He will be missed by all, but with time, the sweet memories will be what remain.

Scott's passing leaves a hole in my heart. I am so, so sorry and praying that although we will miss him, that he now has the joy of reuniting with those who went before him. One of our most beloved ex-Tracor compadres who traveled the up AND the down with us.  Always a positive spirit and key resource for any project and a great Toastmaster buddy. So sorry to hear about Scott's passing. I worked with Scott in the defense industry on many occasions. A great guy who will be missed by all.

So sad to hear of Scott's passing.  I worked with Scott for almost 30 years in the defense industry on numerous projects. Many times we talked not only work, but cars, guns and many other topics. The potato cannon at test fire will always be a legacy of Scott's. A super guy who will greatly missed!

What I will always remember about Scott is that beautiful smile he always had and how he liked to make people laugh with his wit. Also, how he was such a patient, loving father to Josh when he would bring him to work for a visit.  He also, told me one day, how fortunate he was to have found the love of his life, Jan and you could see that love in his eyes when he spoke of her.  You will be so missed by all of us who loved you.  The world seems a little less bright without you in it now.

Sending prayers for comfort and serenity in God's time for you,  Jan and Joshua, and all of your family.  We will all really, really miss that Good Guy Scott.

Brilliantly smart, studious, caring with kind eyes and a kind heart, witty with a jovial sprit, a gentleman. These are my lasting impressions of Scott. I was privileged to know him, and will always have the highest regard for him as a peer and a person. I am deeply saddened and admittingly troubled by this tragic loss.

Scott, my life was better for having known you. You are often in my thoughts and will remain there.
