In December 1970, Willis and Sara wed. Both continued to be active in the church and to travel extensively. Following Willis retirement in 1986, the couple moved to Austin, where he served as a professor at UT. Sara continued to be very active in the Hugenot Society, DAR, Austin Womens Club, Symphony League, English Speaking Union, and of course, her beloved Church of the Good Shepherd. A Memorial service will be held at 2pm on Friday, January 19, 2007 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd.
