Sandra Eileen Zasowski

Sandra Eileen Zasowski (Sandy) of Austin, TX passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at the age of 86. She was born on December 25,1937, in Chicago, IL where she grew up with her sister and parents.

She graduated from Alvernia High School in Chicago, IL in 1956.

She worked as a unit clerk at a children’s hospital, a teacher’s aide for special needs children, in medical billing, and as a childcare provider. She spent a huge part of her life taking care of children.

She loved to read mystery books and watch Hallmark movies and HGTV. She enjoyed being a mom and a grandmother. She was very fond of visiting with the kids she knew and loved: Riley, Gaby, and Deven. She always cherished the Christmas season, especially as she was born on Christmas Day.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn and J.R. Page.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Stanford, her son-in-law, Steven Stanford, her grandson, Riley Stanford, her sister Sharon Reagan, her nephews, Michael Davis and Brad Davis, and her honorary grandson, Deven Nuckols.

A visitation for Sandra will be held Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749, followed by a graveside service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
