Roy Vasquez Luna Jr., age 57 of Austin, was called home to the Kingdom of Christ on August 20, 2023. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, (POPO) Manuel Vasquez Sr. and (MOMO) Nettie Vasquez; his mother Isabel Vasquez Alonzo; his father Roy Luna Sr.
He is survived by his son Roy Luna III; his siblings Katherine Alonzo, Karen Alonzo, Jesse Alonzo III(Shannon), John Victor Alonzo (Selene), Joshua Alonzo (Cheyenne); his nephews and nieces Justin A. Torres, Krystal Alonzo, Kaitlyn Alonzo, Gus Alvarado, Matilda M. Alonzo, John “Jack” Victor Alonzo II, Isabel M. Alonzo, Lilly I. Alonzo, and countless lifelong friends and extended family.
Throughout his entire life, Roy was very outgoing and humorous, and he was a “jack of all trades, master of none” kind of guy. From playing the trumpet in his Anderson High School marching band, to mastering Taekwondo, to honorably serving his country in the U.S. Armed Forces, to being a Federal Agent with the U.S. Border Patrol in Arizona, and then to living up to his name and becoming the royal King of Night Club Management in Austin, where he always took pride in his leadership and problem-solving skills. He will be greatly missed by all of his friends and family.
Forever in our hearts, we love you Brother! “Junior”
