Rosean M. Paglini Whalen

The family moved to Hanover Park, a suburb of Chicago in 1960 where Rosean published 2 newspapers, The Township Times and The Advisor.

In 1980, she and Jim moved to Austin, Texas to be with their children.

She leaves behind her husband, Jim; sons, Steve, Pat, Carl and Greg; along with their wives, Connie, Valerie, Sylvia and Leslie. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Shannon Kaiser and husband, Robert, Stevie and wife, Staci, Shawn and wife, Sophia, Jessica Smith and husband, Harley, Chelsea Miller and husband, Shawn, Jon and Taylor as well as her great grandchildren, Kailyn, Madison, Cameron, Chloe, Morgan, Reagan, and Christian.

She is preceded in death by her father, Carl; mother, Josephine; sister, Connie and son, Johnny.

The family will receive friends and family from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M., on Monday, March 12, 2012 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in the Chapel of Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home.
