Roger served his country in the United States Air Force for 25 years. After his career with the Air Force, Roger worked other various jobs. He loved working with wood and making things. After his stroke, 15 years ago, Roger worked with other stroke victims designing aids to make his and their lives easier.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lealand Beasley.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Laurie Chase and her husband David; grandchildren, Ashey Allen, Alizabeth Jones, Amanda Mansur, David Chase, Jr., Andrew Chase and Colby Chase; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; niece, Tammy Beasley; nephew, John Beasley; uncle, Herd Davison and wife Alice; aunts, Alice Woods and Donna Davison.
