Robert Allen Jett died peacefully in his sleep at his Austin home on November 5, 2022. Robert was born in Dallas on September 20, 1939. He graduated from Dallas Adamson High School in 1958, but he never really moved on from his high school glory days. He did graduate from East Texas State University (Texas A&M-Commerce) in 1962.

Robert loved sports – especially baseball. He played well past his prime and then switched to tennis. He was still playing tennis at 80 years old! He was a people-person and loved talking to everyone, especially if they went to high school in Texas. He kept in touch with most of his high school friends and Texas high school coaches. He always had several stories that he could not wait to share!
