Robert Dalton Egan, beloved father to Kaitlyn, precious companion to Helen, model uncle, cherished brother, gifted professional and friend to all. Born to Frank and Mary Egan in Dallas, TX, he had an insatiable curiosity and boundless energy. Bob earned a Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas and enjoyed a rich and diverse professional career, most recently with the City of Austin. Beyond his professional life, Bob lived life, ¬loved life with contagious enthusiasm. Whether by kayak, by ski, by bicycle, or hammer and nail, he was a renaissance man in a 20th century world.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Kaitlyn; soulmate, Helen Varty; brothers, Michael, John and David Egan; numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 6th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress Ave.
