Bob was our neighbor for 30 years and was a big part of why our neighborhood is such a lovely place. Seeing Helen and Bob out on their strolls holding hands was a small sign of their enduring love for one another. We send Helen and the family our deepest condolences. Bob lived an honorable life and will be missed.

Bob and Helen were our next door neighbors since the early 1990s. When my mother-in-law came to live with us to regain her strength, Bob and Helen took her under their wing, sharing air force stories, taking walks, visiting the commissary at Camp Mabry, and enjoying  early bird dinners at Luby's. They were a huge part of her recovery. Wonderful neighbors and friends who are greatly missed.

My  heartfelt condolences to all of Bob’s loved  one, especially his dear Helen.  The Dunns helped make this neighborhood special and seeing them would always bring a smile.  I always admired how  Bob appreciated the past and savored the present. He will be missed.

Helen and Bob were dear neighbors of ours since 1991.  They were always fun to talk to about their adventures in the military, stories about Tennessee (Helen), and Austin over the years.  They lived in the Allandale neighborhood since the early 70's.  It's hard to imagine the neighborhood without them.  Good memories, a life well lived.

Bob was a wonderful neighbor to us for the past 8 years. When we moved in next door, I remember how he and Helen would walk the neighborhood every day hand in hand. It was so sweet and heartwarming. We loved hearing the stories of their youth. Bob always greeted people with a big smile and had a delightful sense of humor. 
When my husband and I got married during the COVID outbreak, we had to have our wedding in our backyard and weren’t able to have our family with us, but Bob and Helen stood at the fence and watched our ceremony and helped make the day not so lonely.  We will miss Bob and we want to send all our love to Helen and the whole family.
