Robert E. Byers Jr.

Robert E. Byers Jr., age 62, of Austin, passed away on November 21, 2013. He was born in Midland, Texas on April 5, 1951, in the middle of west Texas dust storm. Robert’s family moved to Austin soon after his birth and he lived in Austin for the remainder of his life.

He graduated from Steven F. Austin High School and the University of Texas of Business. Robert was employed by the Austin National Bank for many years as a Trust Administrator. He had a further career in finance and sales.

Robert is survived by son Robert E. Byers III of Roanoke, Texas and a brother Gregory Byers of Pasadena, California.

Memorial Services will be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Sunday, the 24th of November 2013, in the Colonial Chapel of Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas.
