He worked as a Sergeant for the Austin Police Department and then went to work for a Fortune 500 Company, where he developed a long-standing career in security and technology as well as designing world-wide security systems.
He was a father of three children and a grandfather of two children. He loved film, music, and was acknowledged for his short-film productions with Austin School of Film which screened at festivals like SXSW. He was actively involved in his church and confident in his faith and spirituality. He was compassionate, kind, and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Chris Ansley Stone, his father, Lester Ansley, step-father, Paul stone, and his sister, Karen Ruth Ansley Hamilton.
He is survived by his three children: Lindsay, Chris, and Adam.
The family would like to thank all of his friends and extended family for the care and compassion they have shown in his final days and throughout his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills on Saturday, August 12, 2023 beginning at 1:00 PM.
